Dr. Arizmendi was born in Houston, Texas in 1971 and is a devoted physician bilingual in English and Spanish. He received an undergraduate degree from Universidad de Monterrey, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, 1989 and received Doctor of Medicine from Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon, Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, 1995.

He completed Internal Medicine Residency at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio, 2003 and completed Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at Indiana University, School of Medicine, Indianapolis, Indiana, 2005.

Dr. Arizmendi has additional experience in:

  • Clinical Trials Research at Jose E. Gonzalez University Hospital and University of Texas-Houston Health Sciences Center.
  • Expert Faculty, Geriatrics Education Network of Indiana, Indiana University. Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine, Indiana University School of Medicine.
  • Medical Director, Weslaco Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
